Merry Christmas and welcome into the Urban Cottage all dressed up for Christmas. You’ll see I’ve gone mad for plaid and truth be told the only new things this year are my sofa pillows and wrapping paper. Come on in and let me show you around.
The living room is all cozy and feels like a cabin to me with all of the red and plaid.
The kitchen is the brightest room of the house on dark and gloomy winter days.
I love the change of bright color at Christmas. It is always fun to pull my plaid shower curtain out. I used wrapping paper on the hand towel box, the little box on the toilet and the hand soap dispenser. A couple red ribbons tied on jar lids add an easy pop of cheer!
The spare room is used for so many things including guests, grandkids, music, storage and wrapping Christmas gifts.
I tried finding a new spot for the nutcracker collection this year, but it ended up right in the same spot as previous years. I feel like they are all watching over me at night.
